We are still settling in and getting used to life in our new city. It’s definitely different. It was a little easier, no let’s be honest, MUCH easier to blend in in the capital city. Here it is small and we are just plain weird. We speak a different language, we have 3 children ages 4 and under (that is really strange here), and I’m sure there is much more that makes us weird I just can’t think of it right now. So whenever we do venture out it’s pretty exhuasting. The kids and I haven’t had a lot of car access so it’s the boys in the stroller and Lillian and I on foot. Of course after we’ve been out a while Lillian is crying because she doesn’t want to walk and Eli is crying because he doesn’t want to ride. So why don’t I let them switch you ask…Because Eli would be gone in the blink of an eye. There is no keeping up with that boy on foot unless you are one on one!
Today we went out looking for nearby preschools. Lillian has already asked when she can go back to school because she misses having friends. We didn’t find much but we ended up at the pazar. It’s Tuesday and they shut down the street and vendors come from the villages all around to sell their fruits and veggies. We stocked up on strawberriers, cherries, apples, tomatoes, lettuce, green beans, and peas.
When we got home it was lunchtime followed by naptime. And most importantly momma’s peace and quiet time!

With 3 kids age 4 and under I don’t get out of the house as much as I’d like. God has spoiled me for this season of life with this view from our salon window.
